This class will have all levels- beginning to advanced -- and the instruction will be tailored to accommodate everyone.

For those who want to draw: Gary will construct set ups of still life with dramatic lighting and show different drawing materials and how to use them. Learn about cast shadows and core shadows, how light affects the form, etc. Every great master artist throughout time have hundreds of drawings studying light and shadow patterns, cast heads and more which eventually made them better painters.

For those who want to paint: Gary will show you how to keep your colors clean and vibrant. How to mix shadow colors and use brush strokes to describe the form. There are many styles you can explore in this Saturday workshop. If you are an Impressionist at heart, you are welcome use the techniques of the masters and develop your own unique style. If you are a traditionalist, Gary will show you a limited palette and if you want to get creative and explore an abstract vision of the set up, he will guide you in composition, rhythm and color.

All I can say is this is a Fun and Productive way to spend a Saturday Morning!
